If you could afford either Nikon D or D what would ye go for?

If you could afford either Nikon D or D what would ye go for?
i know the D is nearly twice the price , but the D is a more recent model so which would you buy and why ?

Would you rather a new Ferrari designed in , or an designed Ford Compact? It is the same sort of deal. There is no comparison. One is the best performing professional technology currently available, the other a consumer product built to a price. We have Ds and Ds available for staff and no one considers them to be the same. There is always a demand for a D and a reluctance to accept the D.brbrThat said, in response to a suggestion that I was overly harsh, You cant judge simply on specifications, you have to use both of them. I dont own either a D or a D, I just have occasional use of them. If someone offered me a D for myself, I certainly would not knock it back. It is a fine camera, just nowhere near as good as a D. I would still use it and appreciate it.
