How a camera portrays you completely depends on the angle the photo was taken at and the lens used. Wideangle lenses tend to create a quotpincushionquot effect where the image is distorted. This will most certainly contribute to people looking bigger on film. Also, as Dukemack said, different angles have different effects. Anyone who says quota camera doesnt liequot is wrong.
